“There is no heavier burden than an unfulfilled potential.” – Charles Schulz (creator of Peanuts Cartoon)
This quote sums up my beliefs and hopes for my clients. In order for clients to fulfill their unique potential and dreams, they need to develop a sense of who they are, what they are, and what they want. By recognizing their strengths, weaknesses, innate interests and unique qualities, clients can achieve their potential, fulfill their dreams and life aspirations. And this is how I can help.

Experience:
I am a Montreal based clinical psychologist and an accredited (OPQ) neuropsychologist, speaker and author. With over 25 years experience working in the health and educational sectors, I have collaborated closely with other professionals while working with diverse populations, including Canada’s First Nation communities. Services are offered to all age groups: children, adolescents and adults.
Expertise/Services:
- I provide expert neuropsychological and psychoeducational assessments. These evaluations offer an in-depth analysis of skills and abilities linked to brain function. Specifically, the assessments explain the underlying challenges, whether they are academic, behavioral, social, or emotional. With my expertise in learning disabilities, nonverbal learning disability (NVLD), attention-deficit/hyperactivity disorder (ADHD), and autism spectrum disorders (ASD), recognizing and understanding each individual’s unique strengths and challenges is of utmost importance. With this knowledge, interventions are provided to support the student’s growth and progress within an inclusive educational setting.
- In addition, I provide psychotherapy using evidence-based approaches tailored to each client’s unique needs. Together, we address personal, work, family, and relationship challenges in a supportive, safe, confidential, and nonjudgmental environment.
- I also offer individualized and group social skills training, ADHD and NVLD coaching, and workshops for parents, educators, and professionals. Each workshop or conference is carefully tailored to meet the specific needs of the audience, ensuring practical strategies and meaningful outcomes.
Second Language Learning
Extensive research in second language acquisition and proficiency shows that the ability to learn and succeed in a second or third language is not universal. Despite dedicated effort, high motivation, and strong support, some students will continue to face significant challenges.
These challenges are not due to laziness, lack of effort, attentional deficits or limited exposure to the language at home. Rather, they often stem from underlying neuropsychological factors that affect how a student processes language, memory, and sound patterns.
Through comprehensive neuropsychological evaluations, the specific cognitive and linguistic reasons that explains why instruction in a second or third language is difficult are identified and understood. This understanding allows families and schools to make more informed decisions, such as enrolling a child in an English-language learning environment, where they can thrive academically.
With the right placement and support, many of these students experience remarkable growth in their academic performance, self-confidence, and self-esteem, enabling them to reach their full potential.
Education:
I am a McGill University graduate with degrees in Neurobiology and Comparative Physiology, as well as Biopsychology, and a graduate degree in Educational Psychology and Counseling. Passionate about learning, I continuously expand my knowledge through continuing education and research in psychology, cognitive psychology, and neuropsychology. I am a licensed member of the Ordre des Psychologues du Québec (OPQ) and hold memberships with the Association des Psychologues du Québec (APQ), the Canadian Psychological Association (CPA), and the College of Psychologists of Ontario (CPO). My training and experience allow me to combine scientific rigor with a practical, client-centered approach.
